As we continue to expand our teams, the range of technical expertise at ibb is also growing. As of July 1, 2026, Matthias Wolf has joined our Gotha office as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
Matthias brings with him experience from industry, research, and development. After entering the technical workforce as a mechatronics engineer, his path led him to the Technical University of Ilmenau, where he studied mechanical engineering and specialized in precision engineering and measurement technology.
In recent years, he has focused intensively on the development of high-precision technical systems, with an emphasis on both design challenges and innovative solutions for demanding applications. Most recently, he worked in the “NanoFab” Graduate College at the Technical University of Ilmenau, conducting research in the field of force measurement technology for tip-based nanofabrication.
With this background, Matthias expands the expertise of our team in Gotha and will support the implementation of challenging development projects in the field of mechanical design.
