Peter has been passionate about technical design for many years. Even during his apprenticeship as a process technician for plastics and rubber technology, he discovered his interest in CAD design and the development of technical components. He deepened this knowledge during his subsequent studies in plastics engineering at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, where he later successfully earned both his Bachelor’s and Master of Science degrees.
His work in the 3D printing lab at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences was particularly formative for him. There, he focused intensively on the modeling and development of components and solidified his desire to pursue a career in design and product development.
At ibb, Peter is currently familiarizing himself with various tasks in the field of mechanical design engineering. His focus is on design, engineering, and the creation of technical drawings.
In addition to his professional background, Peter volunteered with konaktiva, a student group at TU Darmstadt, during his time as a student. Since 2023, he has helped organize the corporate career fair every year.
Open communication and strong teamwork are particularly important to him:
"Getting along well with my colleagues and maintaining open communication are very important to me. I look forward to working with the team and tackling the challenges ahead.”
Peter also enjoys staying active in his personal life. In addition to fitness and bouldering, cooking is one of his favorite hobbies.
Dear Peter, we’re thrilled to have you as part of the team and wish you a successful start at ibb.
