Dirk Beutler’s journey at ibb exemplifies this transformation. Starting in sales and entrusted with expanding the Düsseldorf office, his path led him to Petersberg a few years later. There, a new challenge awaited him: using CATIA V5 to establish another pillar of business alongside the existing Pro/E activities. These new capabilities opened up new opportunities for the company.
As the company grew, its structures also changed. In 2009, ibb was reorganized; recruiting evolved into an independent division, and Dirk moved there alongside Dennis. This step also signaled a broader development: ibb opened itself up to a significantly wider range of skills and disciplines.
The company gradually transformed from a specialist in individual CAD systems into a partner that is now much more versatile. With new structures, its own recruiting team, and HR4YOU, the opportunities to match a wide variety of positions with the right qualifications expanded.
Another building block was added with ibb’s certification as a training provider. The ability to more closely integrate training and recruiting further expanded the portfolio and opened up new perspectives.

Dirk’s 25 years at ibb represent more than just a personal milestone. His journey also tells a part of the company’s history: from the expansion of new locations and business areas, through the establishment of new structures, to an increasingly diverse portfolio of services.
