Design CAD Designer responsible for the assembly (m/w/d) battery systems

Responsibilities

• Construction of high-voltage storage batteries, electric motors, inverters
• Responsible assembly designer for 3D modeling 2D drawing creation
• Lead development of detailed design solutions
• Instructions for the detailed designers for the assembly
• Responsibility for the assembly parts list
• Perform tolerance calculations
• Ensuring the construction-related documentation for the assembly
• Coordination with suppliers
• Occasional presentation of module status to project and customer

Your profile

• Completed engineering degree, preferably mechanical engineering or mechatronics
• At least 3 years of significant professional experience as a CAD Designer with a Tier1 supplier or OEM for medium-complexity products
• Experience in guiding individual designers
• Very good CAD skills in CATIA V5 and/or Siemens NX
• Fluent written and spoken German and English
• Ability to work efficiently and goal-oriented
• High level of flexibility, creativity, diligence and technical understanding
• Strong communication skills
• Very good MS Office skills
