Technical writer (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

• Presentation of complex technical descriptions in a comprehensible and target group-appropriate form and ensuring formal and linguistic accuracy
• Procurement of relevant documents required to create technical documentation (e.g. from IT systems, archives, suppliers, or from design)
• Analysis and evaluation of the documents obtained with regard to their implementation in the documentation to be prepared
• Participation in occasional research activities in systems at home and abroad
• Commissioning, instructing and monitoring the processing agencies (graphics and proofreading)
• Correspondence with internal/external specialist departments as well as clients and subcontractors
• Preparation of progress reports on your own work packages
• Research work and review of documentation on the systems to be described

Your profile

• Engineer (m/f/d), technician (m/f/d) or master (m/f/d) with technical education or technical education combined with extensive experience in maintenance
• Basic knowledge of technical documentation and logistics
• Ability to derive logistical systems from technical design documents and to prepare appropriate logistical documents
• Ability to formulate complicated tasks in an understandable way
• Experience in handling military equipment
• Strong team spirit
• Entrepreneurial thinking and an independent and goal-oriented way of working
• Business fluency in German as well as good spoken and written English skills round off your profile
